We are proud of our local rodeo!

The Needles Rodeo Association is already preparing for the 43rd Annual Colorado River Round Up Rodeo presented by the Colorado River Medical Center set for Friday, April 5th & Saturday April 6th, 2019.  Our Board Members are volunteers who work hard to give the tri-state area the only local rodeo. Our board members grew up in Needles and went to the Needles Rodeo every year.  We try to continue the tradition that we have all enjoyed for the past almost 43 years.  It is our hope that you and your children and grandchildren will leave the Needles Rodeo with the same fond memories that we have.

Thanks to our sponsors that come through every year and support us year after year. Because of their support and other generous donations, we are able to put needed monies back into the tri-state youth organizations.  We also give scholarships to area high school seniors.

The Colorado River Round Up Rodeo is a GCPRA sanctioned rodeo.  We are a non-profit organization and all contributions to the Needles Rodeo Association are tax deductible.

COLORADO RIVER ROUND UP RODEO

2019 GRAND MARSHALL

VIP area sponsor

presents the

43rd Colorado river round up

We are happy to announce that this year's Grand Marshall is Bob Dressel. Bob came to Needles in the early 60s when he bought the Hungry Bear Restaurant and Travelodge sight unseen! He was a popular figure in Needles and served as the president of the local chamber, Needles Rodeo chairman and was instrumental, along with a group of Needles businessmen, in building and financing the Needles Rodeo Grounds where it sits today.  Bob and his wife, Paula, now live in Texas and travel around the country in their motorhome selling antiques. Congratulations and welcome back, Bob Dressel.
